DAM CHHOI
LAMA
The defining act of a Buddhist life is to go for Refuge to the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha: It is the act by which one becomes a Buddhist, and every day around the world millions of Buddhists chant the Three Refuges, committing themselves to live with these ideals. Whatever stage we have reached on the path, the next step is always to transform our actions, thoughts, and values from those based on limited or selfish aspirations to those represented by the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha.
Dam Chhoi Lama is a Buddhist lay monk who went for Refuge to the Three Jewels of Buddhism since he was 9, offered free information sessions and gave Himalayan Spiritual Meditation and Healing Workshops for 14 years in Rome, Italy and moved to Vancouver permanently in 2017. He still lives and practices the same wisdom and has now decided to offer the same ideals to enrich the Vancouver community in a very friendly & spirited neighborhood, The Drive.
